Bruce and Preslee

Yesterday, I watched Preslee so her mom could work. Bruce and Preslee play so well together, it's really cute! Here is a video of the two laughing hysterically. I guess Bruce and Pres both thought it was funny to lock Bruce in the downstairs closet.

Rhyan and her 2 month check up

Here is Rhyan on her two month birthday! Don't you just love those cheeks? And yes she is in her brother's pajamas but I figured it would be okay if I made her wear a flower to bed ;)

Rhyan is really strong and already tries to stand up with daddy's help of course.

She smiles and coos alot now. It's really cute.

Rhyan had her two month checkup last Friday and weighed 14lbs 10 oz and 23 inches long. She is in the 100th percentile in weight and 75th percentile for height.

Rhyan is such a joy to have in our family. She is so calm and patient. She allows me to take care of her brother without a peep from her. She goes everywhere with me! Rhyan has already been to two movies and did great at both! Kiel and I had a date night two weeks ago with another couple and had a babysitter watch Bruce. I wasn't comfortable leaving Rhyan so she went along for the date. We went to dinner and a movie. And then another time I saw a movie with a girlfriend and took Rhyan. She goes shopping with me at 10 o'clock at night while Kiel stays home and watches Bruce. I love it, she's my little side kick. She is doing really well at night now. She sleeps 6 - 8 hours!

Oak Glen and a 5k All in One Day

Saturday was a busy day for the Christensens that live in SoCal, but none of us were as busy as Steve Jordan, Kiel's brother in law. Friday night we drove to Yucaipa to stay at the Jordon's so we could get up early the next morning and run in the 5k/Triathalon that Steve put together. Shelley, my sister in law, watched Rhyan and Bruce so Kiel and I both could run. Bless her heart she had four kids four and under to watch all at the same time.

It was a lot of fun to run together. Kiel stayed back and waited for me, since I am really out of shape. Steve did a great job putting everything together, poor guy, I have never heard a name called so many times in just an hour. The only thing I will say is, Steve I don't think it was a true 5k because i finished in 28minutes and there is no way I was running faster than 10 minute miles (I was probably doing 13min miles.) Kiel and I want to run in the Crafton Hilltop Challenge every year! I do not dare post the picture of us after the run but is surfacing on certain blogs and on facebook, if you're interested. (I actually don't care I'm just too lazy to copy the picture and load it on here.)

After the run we had breakfast at the Jordan's and went to Oak Glen to pick pumpkins, berries and apples. It turns out the apples and berries were all gone so we let the kids run around and check out the pumpkins.

And finally a good shot of the cousins! Whenever I try and take a picture of them, Bruce is running away, Jack refuses to look at the camera and Mariah says Cheeese.

After lunch we headed home so Bruce could nap. I napped too. It was a day filled with fun!

Uggggg!

I have so much to blog about, but such little time to do it! I have really cute pictures and videos of the kids along with updates that I hope to post this weekend.

I'm literally going from 5am till 11pm these days. I started work today and I'm not gonna lie, it is near impossible to work at home with 2 under two. Plus, I have an insane goal to lose a substantial amount of weight in just 38 days so I'm never sitting. I haven't turned on the television in two weeks (go me!)

So between the kids, working out, working and being a house wife there is hardly any time to just sit and chat. In fact I was just able to look on facebook a few minutes ago.

And it doesn't look like I'm going to bed anytime soon, we put Bruce down at 7 and I hear him laughing hysterically right now in his crib. I don't dare open the door, hopefully he goes back to sleep :D

Getting Deep and Personal with Numbers...

Here it is...my weight and my weight goals ;) The good news is I'm already more than half way to my ideal #!


This magic # is the weight I was BEFORE Bruce pumped me all the way up to...wait for it, wait for it: 195lbs!

I was able to drop down to 146 lbs and then little miss Rhyan came into the picture.

And she pumped me up to ... wait for it, 182lbs!

But so far I have lost 26lbs and my goal is to lose 21 more by NOV. 18th in order to claim my $5,000 cash prize!

I just might be able to do it since money is the motivator and this is how I'm doing it:

1. 44 days of Insanity
2. Sprinkle Sensa on EVERYTHING I eat
3. and cutting processed sugar out of my diet for 30 days

If you do a little math, you'll be able to guess my magic # ;)

I also have lots of cute pics and videos of my kiddo's, maybe I will share later. But I definitely will post for Halloween and we have a family photo shoot booked November 14th and I better get a Christmas card picture out of it ;)

Gotta go, my pillow is calling! zzzzz, waaa, waaaa, waaa...never mind Rhyan is calling! My job is NEVER done...lately!
