Pretend City

Today Bruce and I had a mommy and me date and went to Pretend City in Irvine. This place knocked the Zoo and the Aquarium out of the water. He had so much fun and was so excited about everything he barely ate lunch.

Pretend City, is a miniture town for children and includes everything from farms, to grocery stores, to cafe's, to real estate, to police departments, to beaches, marinas, a mini park, and even car dealerships.

The goal is to make as much money as you can by working at the cafe or grocery store or car dealership so you can buy a car or a house or the cafe or the store or even the farm. The grocery store, buys produce from the farm so whoever owns the farm makes money from the grocery store. The cafe buys their food from the grocery store so whoever owns the grocery store makes money from the cafe along with making money from their customers. It's a really neat concept that Bruce had nothing to do with. I did buy him his first tractor from the car dealership and he had fun taking that thing everywhere.

Bruce loved playing at the farm, the pretend park, the beach, the gas station and he was also a dispatcher for a short minute. He called the police to let them know there was a robbery at the cafe. It sounded like this on the loud speaker: Bababa dadadadada da! Great work buddy. The robbers were never found.

Anyway this place is great for ALL ages, Bruce had a BLAST! On the 2nd Friday of every month they have a 2 for 1 admission deal. Kiel missed out because he had to work so we are going to make it a family trip pretty soon.

"Great work buddy. The robbers were never found." I just about died of laughter.

What a great place! I've never heard of anything like it. Looks like he had so much fun!

(Btw, I loved what you had to say in reaction to my "Lately" post a while ago. Thank you :) ).
